My entire experience at Swede's was a pleasure. I went in with a simple idea in mind: I wanted to have my grandmother's diamond harvested from her engagement ring, and find a vintage band to reset the diamond in for my soon-to-be fiancee. With Robert's help, I found an engagement band that was absolutely perfect for the diamond (and for its eventual recipient.) He dropped my grandmother's diamond in the scope and gave me a detailed view of it from many different angles, so I could get a proper sense of any inclusions/imperfections in the stone. He also offered to recut the diamond, but understood immediately when I was inclined to leave it whole. He was a consummate professional, but also came across as a warm person who really enjoyed helping someone find what they want/need.
My husband and I have known this wonderful family for years; in fact the founders' daughter Ali is the reason we met in the first place many years ago. Flash forward a few decades: when my now-husband decided to propose, he and Rob Swede spent months custom designing my beautiful engagement ring! Of course we purchased our wedding bands there as well. Swede's Jewelers are extremely knowledgable, certified gemologists, their prices are wonderful for the fine quality of their merchandise, and the customer service from everyone on staff is impeccable. Stan and Alice should be very proud of the way their children have carried on their tradition. ❤️
This process *could* have been difficult, obscenely expensive and time-consuming, but it was none of those things, because the staff at Swede's is absolutely top notch. Thanks for everything, guys!
I recently asked them to repair a piece of jewelry. They did so promptly and professionally. They also stated anytime I wanted to have it cleaned they would gladly do it even while I grocery shop next door. I found their kindness and patience exemplary. I drove to this store which is out of my way because of the excellent service reviews and was not disappointed.
In just a few days, I had the new band in hand, and I was engaged 3-4 weeks later. It'd be a tremendous understatement to say that the ring was well received.
We wrote a review after walking out very disappointed. I was harassed by the same owner for 2 weeks to PROVE what he told us was TRUE. (This store has all the cameras and videos rolling. So I could not fathom not having a record of our conversations regarding the ring)
We were treated like dirt, lied to, and then harassed. Save your money and dignity and avoid this place.
Rob not only treated me as if I was spending a million bucks in the store but he also found the most PERFECT ring for my now wife that fit my budget. I cannot thank the entire crew for all of their help and would not imagine giving my business to anyone else. This is the place to shop!!
My husband and I were trying to buy a diamond ring. I was shown a nice ring and told the price by one of the owners. When we went into the store cash in hand we were told a much higher price for the ring. We were shocked at the salesman's attitude and treatment.
This review is ridiculously late, as my transaction was on 8/8/2016. I just realized I never put up a review, though, and I really feel like I owe a good word to Swede's.
They have gone above and beyond when it comes to all of my jewelry needs. I was a broke college kid trying to impress the love of my life with a diamond ring that would knock her socks off. Unfortunately, I did not have the funds to match the quality of stone that she deserved. That is until I walked into Swede's!
